The U.S. response to the war on merchant shipping being conducted by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen has been ferocious.

The U.S. military has engaged in approximately 10 response strikes so far, directed at Houthi missile launch facilities, logistics sites, and command and control centers, among other targets.
