The White House said on Friday that national security adviser Jake Sullivan and China's top diplomat Wang Yi discussed working toward a meeting between President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in San Francisco in November.
Sullivan also discussed concerns over "China's dangerous and unlawful actions in the South China Sea," the White House said while describing the conversations as "candid, constructive, and substantive" on key issues.
