Former congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will launch his radio commentaries, “Ron Paul's America,” next month to share his thoughts and political opinions.
Paul, who pursued the presidency three times, will have two daily one-minute radio commentaries along with Libertarian radio host Charles Goyette, reports
Politico. The segments will be distributed to radio stations nationwide and will be available on podcast.
His broadcast debut is scheduled for March 18.
“I am very excited to have this opportunity to take the message of freedom to more people than ever, especially now when our country needs it so much," Paul said in a press release.
“Radio and podcasting are a much more powerful means of communication than speaking on the floor of Congress. I welcome this chance to interact with America in a new way, delivering a message that is timelier than ever and a philosophy that people are clearly hungry to hear more about."
Paul served in Congress three times as representative from Texas, the last from 1997 through 2013. In 1988, he ran for president under the Libertarian banner and pursued the presidency again in 2008 and 2012 as a GOP candidate.
