President-elect Donald Trump's senior adviser Steve Bannon was spotted with Hillary Clinton supporter Mark Cuban in a New York City Bar Tuesday.
Cuban, who said during the campaign that Trump had a "complete and utter lack of preparation, knowledge, and common sense," could be seen in the King Cole Bar at the St. Regis sitting at a table with Bannon, who appeared to take notes in an orange notebook during their meeting, the Daily Mail reports.
In an interview on Newy Scrugg's NBC Sports Radio Show, Cuban said he'd rather be broke than see Trump as president.
"When it's all said and done, I'd rather lose every penny than have Trump as president, because I care more about the future of my family, my children than I do about my pocketbook," Cuban said.
"And if it means we play to empty arenas, I'm down with that."
Despite his distaste for Trump, Cuban is an avowed fan of Bannon, saying on Fox News, "I know who Steve Bannon is. I've done business with him. He's a smart guy. He's smarter than Donald."
Bannon said recently that the professional basketball team he owns, the Dallas Mavericks, have been boycotting Trump's hotels while on the road, although that decision was apparently made months before Election Day.
