Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's once-promising campaign is struggling, but he's still in the race.
It appears a lot of people don't know that, since the top question currently asked about Bush on Google is: Is Jeb Bush still running for president?
Bush started out as the front-runner and was racking up donor dollars. But Donald Trump rose to the top spot soon after announcing his candidacy in June and Bush has been falling ever since.
Even establishment donors are looking to Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as a better investment, leaving Bush to urge them to
"chill out."
According to Google Trends, Bush isn't the only candidate to leave a lot of people wondering about his status. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson's top search also wonders about his candidacy.
Carson isn't likely dropping out any time soon, but low-pollers Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas governor, and Bobby Jindal, the current Louisiana governor, also have plenty of people wondering about their status.
Here are the top questions on the rest of the candidates:
- Why do Republicans hate Ted Cruz?
- What was said on "The View" about Carly Fiorina?
- What did Governor [John] Kasich say about the two leading candidates?
- Who is Rand Paul?
- Is Marco Rubio a Republican?
- Did Donald Trump win the debate?
- Will Chris Christie drop out?
- Why wasn't Lindsey Graham in the debate?
- Why shouldn't I vote for Rick Santorum?
