Ron Fournier: Obama Runs a 'Propaganda Outfit'

National Journal columnist Ron Fournier said Wednesday that the Obama administration is running a "propaganda outfit" in order to "sell" the president's signature health care exchange to millions of skeptical Americans.

Fournier, speaking on the Laura Ingraham radio show, said that despite the national media blitz, "it could be the nail in the coffin for Obamacare."

"They have to sell it but they can't over sell it. They have a hard time not spinning… This is a propaganda outfit that, they do put out government-sponsored propaganda. They are running a government-sponsored media organization."

Fournier said the administration has to overcome the disastrous exchange rollout and sky-high premiums that have made Obamacare unpopular. "They have to convince us, especially young healthy adults," he said.
