Fourteen United States Army soldiers were charged $200 out of pocket for a fourth bag they each carried while flying back from Afghanistan commercially on Tuesday, according to a gawker.com report.

As Staff Sergeant Robert O'Hair pointed out in the video, the Army has an agreement with Delta saying the airline will not charge for a fourth bag.
Delta was quick with the damage control, posting an apology and clarification on its website the same day:

“Currently, active duty U.S. Military personnel traveling on orders may check up to 4 bags in First/Business class and 3 bags in Coach for free both domestically and internationally. Additionally, to help with the travel process, we allow each bag to weight an extra 20 pounds over the standard allowance.”

O’Hair’s fourth bag, he explained, contained his machine gun, missile launcher, and 9mm handgun – “the tools I used to protect myself and Afghan citizens while I was deployed.”
