CNN global affairs correspondent Elise Labott has been suspended for two weeks after tweeting an opinion on
Thursday's vote by the House of Representatives to end the program allowing Syrian and Iraqi refugees,

Following the vote, Labott tweeted:
Several Twitter users called Labott out for biased reporting, and Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple also questioned whether the tweet complied with CNN's editorial guidelines.
President Barack Obama has vowed to veto the bill if it passes the Senate and
has criticized Republicans for opposing the program.
Polls show a majority of Americans want the program stopped, and 31 governors have said they won't allow settlement in their states following last week's Paris attacks. At least one of the assailants entered Europe as a Syrian refugee.
