Chris Cillizza is leaving The Washington Post and MSNBC to join CNN.

Cillizza was responsible for the newspaper's political blog, The Fix, while contributing to MSNBC, Politico reported.

"I've been looking for the opportunity to do it all under one roof," Cillizza said. "Having a place to do the writing and the television piece and do it all under one umbrella — that's a pretty unique deal. It's not easy to find."

Washington Post editor Marty Baron said The Fix will continue without Cillizza.

And The Hill reported Cillizza, who has 450,000 Twitter followers, will join CNN on April 3 as a political reporter.
