Joe Biden's "totally wrong" foreign policy undermines President Donald Trump's America First agenda, and if he's elected, his plans will be the "worst thing that can happen for the economy and America, for business and manufacturing, trade, and everything else," Rep. Brian Mast said Thursday.
"Biden is going to say that if President Trump did something, it doesn't matter how much it put Americans first, he is going to go out there and do the opposite," the Florida Republican said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends."
There is no more important time than now, with the uncertainties from the coronavirus pandemic and economic problems, to put Americans first, Mast added, but Biden will say "'let's go out there and do the opposite of that' because that will appease the leftist mobs of Portland and Seattle, that he is going out there and trying to pander to now."
Meanwhile, the Army veteran on Thursday warned that China will do all it can to be the biggest threat it can be.
"On top of that, they are also working to start exporting not just their goods, but their version of social monitoring [and] their version of a socialist society," said Mast. "Everybody should be worried about that."
Mast also spoke out against mail-in voting, calling it "dangerous" when compared to absentee voting.
"Republicans are still behind in the state of Florida by several hundred thousand requests for absentee ballots," Mast said. "We have got to go out there and make sure we get ahead of Democrats on this because it can be a big part of the election in Florida."
The congressman also slammed lawmakers for "hypocrisy" for rules limiting veterans' funerals to 10 people, when at least 50 members of Congress traveled to Atlanta last week for services for late Rep. John Lewis.
