Bob Barr to Newsmax TV: Michael Flynn Pleaded Too Early

(Newsmax TV's "America Talks Live")

By    |   Tuesday, 17 December 2019 05:11 PM EST

Former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn faces sentencing next month in part because he "rushed to enter a plea before really knowing an awful lot about the case against him or what the government was doing," former federal prosecutor Bob Barr told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

"I never really understood why he was so quick, so anxious, to enter that plea," Barr, who also served four terms in the U.S. House from Georgia, told "America Talks Live" host John Cardillo.
