New drone footage posted on YouTube reveals the massive size of
Apple's still-under-construction Campus 2, dubbed Spaceship.
YouTube user Duncan Sinfield posted the footage he shot of the Cupertino, California construction site on Sunday morning. It shows the circular-shaped 2.8-million-square-foot building that features green space in the center.
Ground was broken on the building in 2012 with construction slated to be complete in 2017. Still, the building isn't big enough to hold all the company's employees, notes
Cult of Mac. A smaller 777,100-square-foot circular building is set to be built in Sunnyvale, California.
The huge Spaceship is intended to foster collaboration, Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing,
told Mashable.
