Al-Qaida Member's Bid to Delay, Move Trial Rejected by Judge

A man the U.S. accuses of helping Osama bin Laden establish a media information office in London that publicized al-Qaida’s statements and threats against Americans lost his bid to move his trial out of New York or delay it for 60 days.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan said Khaled al-Fawwaz, who was charged for his alleged role in the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, will face trial Jan. 20.
