A major media campaign in support of the Keystone XL pipeline was launched Tuesday in an effort to build momentum for the pending project.
The "Who Supports" campaign by the American Petroleum Institute highlights endorsements from top national newspapers and notable figures including Warren Buffett and former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush,
Politico reported.
"It drives home the point that Americans of all political stripes representing a diverse range of industries support the Keystone XL pipeline," Cindy Schild, the group's downstream-operations senior manager, told reporters on a conference call.
