'Sammy the Bull' Gravano to Newsmax: Biden Should Be in Jail

If organized crime figures were doing what President Joe Biden and members of his family are accused of, they'd "be in jail already," Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, a one-time Gambino family underboss, told Newsmax Tuesday after reports that the House Oversight Committee has found direct payments from Hunter Biden's bank account to his father's.

"The thing is that it seems like a double standard," Gravano said on Newsmax's "Wake Up America." "You know if I was to do that, if the Miami Mafioso would do something like that, we would be in jail already. We'd be in cuffs."

His comments came after reports that Hunter Biden paid his father $1,380 a month for three months in 2018, totaling $4,140, through the account of a shell company, Owasco PC, with money from China through an alleged influence-peddling scheme. The White House has said Biden's son was repaying him for a loan for a truck he had bought.

But Gravano, who served time in prison for racketeering and became a government witness against mob boss John Gotti, told Newsmax he doesn't know how such things, combined with other accusations, have been allowed to happen or "why there is not any kind of repercussion to it."

"I don't think even impeachment is enough," Gravano said. "These people need to be arrested. They've sold out the country. This is a horrible crime. This is above every case is treason. So when you get into office, you're expected to live a different life.

"I don't care what you were before. But at this point here, this is complete treason. It's every man, woman, and child, every nationality or religion. I mean, race is hurt when you sell out the country like this."

The payments, he added, are "crystal clear."

"What is the excuse they could give about payments coming in from China?" Gravano said. "It is different bank accounts. I've done something that when I was younger, switching money from one account to another account, different corporations. Well, they're caught with it. So I want to know what they're doing."

But Biden is getting away with it, Gravano said, because he has a "lot of power on his side," including the media and Big Tech.

"We rigged different things, unions, different kinds of businesses, associations," he said. "It seems like the public gets numb to certain crimes, certain things that happen. They just get numb to it. They'll complain about it, but they won't do anything."

He also said he doesn't agree with claims that the Bidens aren't involved in organized crime because "it's more organized, you couldn't get if this isn't organized crime … we were like choirboys compared to what they're doing now. If you say it's not organized crime, I don't agree with that. There is no parallel. They doing 10 times more."

Gravano added that he "never sold out the country."

"We may have raised prices in different markets and we got a piece of it, but we never turned around and sold out the whole country," he said.
