The media inexplicably are not covering the epidemic of black mob violence, says Colin Flaherty, author of the new book "White Girl Bleed A Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It."
"The book is about an epidemic of black mob violence all over the country, and even crazier, how the press ignores, condones, excuses, and even denies it," Flaherty told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"The violence really strikes at the foundation of a civilized society. So, that's how important I see it, too. I don't know why the reporters ignore it. I only document how they ignore it over and over and over and over, and how astonished I am that they do that."
Flaherty, an award-winning journalist, said the title of his book comes from a disturbing attack that took place.
"Fifty to 100 black people looted a convenience store, on video. They took their candy and groceries to a nearby park, where they ran into 10 white kids. They beat them up really badly," he said.
"At one point a black woman standing over a white woman, she motions to her friends, she looks down at the woman and says, 'White girl bleed a lot.' Everybody thought that was really funny."
Flaherty thinks the nation is secretive about its pattern of racial violence even though it is growing.
"All of a sudden, all of the sick stuff all over the country's becoming normal. So, we ask a police chief in Chicago, 'Chief, what is responsible for this incredible level of violence in the black community?' And he blamed it on the Pilgrims or Sarah Palin," he said.
"Now, 10 years ago, I wouldn't have believed that because I would've said somebody's making that up. But then I saw it on video . . . So, that's how crazy this whole denial situation is."
