Kyle Smith, a New York Post columnist and movie critic, thinks the Affordable Care Act has turned out to be "a giant redistribution scheme."
"But it wasn't sold that way to the American people. He didn't say, look, I want the middle class and the upper middle class to pay up more so that more poor people can have health insurance. He never said that to us," Smith told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"He's positioning himself as the bystander president who's the last person to know about anything that happens in Washington, D.C. So, I'd have to say that kind of makes him look bad in the long run," Smith said Tuesday.
Smith said the president is "unable to be forthright. This is the signature line of his signature legislation, and it turned out to be totally false."
