She didn't mean to tell her entire viewership, but Fox News host Greta Van Susteren said on air Thursday that she has more experience as a community activist than President Barack Obama.
Obama is considered, even by his detractors, as a community organizer. He served three years in the mid 1980s setting up job and education training and working for tenants' rights at a housing project.

After a discussion with former Rep. Allen West about the Knockout Game, a trend in which young black youths have targeted people to punch in the head, Van Susteren noted that black leaders should be speaking out against it.

"We've got to get this dialogue going," she said. "We can't do it just from
'On the Record' here at 7 o'clock at night, because that's not going to start the dialogue, but we're trying."
"Let's you and I go into a black community and let' have a forum," West suggested.
"I'll go," Van Susteren replied. "You know, for 12 years I represented poor people (as a lawyer.) I have more experience on the street being a community activist in the cities than a lot of people, other people."
She didn't specify who those "other people" were.
But after promoting an upcoming story, Van Susteren, thinking she was off air, turned to West and said in a low voice, "More than the president."
"Huh?" West said.
"I have more years," she said, before realizing she was still on air. She quickly turned to the camera and did another promo before going to commercial.
