A magnitude 5.6 quake struck off the Caribbean coast of Central America at 3:56 E.T, the U.S. Geological Survey said on Sunday.

Originally listed at 5.9 magnitude, the quake had a depth of 6.2 miles and was centered 60 miles northeast of San Andres y Providencia, Colombia, the USGS said.

There was no significant tsunami threat, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.
