ABC's George Stephanopoulos to Interview James Comey

ABC's George Stephanopoulos will interview former FBI Director James Comey in April, BuzzFeed News reported Friday.

The interview is scheduled for mid-April, ahead of the release of Comey's book, "A Higher Loyalty," BuzzFeed reported.

Flatiron Books, the publisher of Comey's book, announced in February that it would move up the release date of his book to April 17 because of the "urgent conversation" surrounding the FBI. 

President Donald Trump fired Comey in May 2017.
