Rush Limbaugh weighed in on Wednesday's dramatic Benghazi hearing before Congress, calling the alleged continuing cover-up, "troubling as ever."
On his nationally syndicated radio show, Limbaugh said the ongoing efforts by the White House to downplay the deadly attack on the U.S. Embassy last September 11th turns "paranoids into prophets."
"As troubling as anything, the lengths that they went to — from the bottomless pit to the blackout on eyewitnesses," Limbaugh said.
"It's the stuff that turns paranoids into prophets."
He said he was fascinated by the "cover-up" and attempts to sweep the terrorist attack "under the rug."
The White House, Limbaugh noted, has sophisticated technology. But he said its "situation room was not used" on the day of the attack.
"Success has a thousand fathers, and failure is an orphan," he said.
