Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Thursday told reporters President Donald Trump will order an "aggressive" response to the rocket strike in Iraq that hilled two U.S. service members.

According to American military officials, two Americans and one British service members were killed Wednesday night after 18 Katyusha rockets were fired at Camp Taji near Baghdad. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper blamed Shia militia groups backed by Iran for the attack, and said "all options are on the table" when it comes to a response.

"I think the president's going to be very aggressive," Graham said Thursday, according to The Hill. "At the time of our choosing, we should hit back."

He then specified the targets would be "the people who actually lunched the rockets," and added, "put Iran on notice that we're going to hold them accountable in the future for this."

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch, R-Idaho, said "if I was the Iran proxy group, I would not sleep well tonight."
