Robert Gibbs: Obamacare Backend System Will Be 'Great Concern'

Former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that Obamacare's backend system, between the administration and insurers, will be a "great concern," and he said there will be pressure for officials to be more "forthcoming" about information.

"There's no doubt that the backend systems will continue to be a great concern," Gibbs told MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

"I think the pressure now will be on the administration to be more forthcoming about what's happening on the back end, and whether insurance companies are getting the information," he said.

Gibbs stressed the importance of having an adequate system between the administration and insurers so that people who sign up are covered by health insurance.

"This has to work for both the administration and insurance companies. And, the administration has to work with those insurance companies to ensure that information is being transmitted correctly, not duplicatively," he said.
