Donna Brazile's upcoming book shows the failure of the Democratic National Committee, according to Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
"Donna Brazile has shed light on the total dysfunction of the DNC and how clearly they put their thumb on the scale for Hillary Clinton," McDaniel said Thursday on Fox News.
McDaniel referred to an excerpt from Brazile's book, "Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-Ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House."
Brazile, the former interim chairwoman of the DNC, wrote in the book that Clinton took over the Democratic Party and used that authority to keep Bernie Sanders from being a political threat to her in the 2016 Democratic primary.
"To see that the Hillary Clinton campaign was funding the DNC and in return demanded total control of the DNC before she was the nominee, shows how truly broken the DNC was," McDaniel added.
"I think Bernie Sanders has every right to be angry and outraged by what Donna Brazile revealed," McDaniel said in the Fox News interview.
