The opposing party leaders on the Senate Intelligence Committee are at odds when it comes to whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 presidential election.
Less than a week after chairman Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., said no evidence of collusion has been found, ranking member Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., said he is holding judgment for now.
"Respectfully, I disagree," said Warner, CNN reported. "I'm not going to get into any conclusions I've reached because my basis of this has been that I'm not going to reach any conclusion until we finish the investigation. And we still have a number of the key witnesses to come back."
Burr said Tuesday there is an absence of facts that point to collusion between both parties.
"We don't have any," CNN quoted Burr as saying.
He added, "Just saying what factually we've found to date. We haven't finished our investigation."
Many Republicans have called for an end to the numerous Russia investigations so President Donald Trump can focus on his presidency. Democrats, however, want the probes to continue because they see a potential link between the Trump campaign and Russia.
