More than six in 10 Facebook users don't trust the social media giant with their personal data, according to a new Huffington Post/YouGov poll.
The results:
- 6 percent say they trust Facebook a lot with their personal data.
- 25 percent trust Facebook somewhat.
- 34 percent don't trust Facebook very much.

The poll comes in the aftermath of Facebook admitting to flaws that allowed data mining firm Cambridge Analytica access to the personal data of 50 million users.
The breakdown along party lines shows both Democrats and Republicans distrust Facebook.
- 66 percent of Republicans don't trust Facebook.
- 63 percent of Democrats don't trust it.
- 61 percent of Independents don't trust it.
Further, 65 percent of those who said they heard at least a little about the scandal said they're not satisfied with Facebook's response to Cambridge Analytica.
- 3 percent said they're very satisfied.
- 19 percent said they're somewhat satisfied.
- 25 percent said they're not very satisfied.
- 30 percent said they're not at all satisfied.
- 23 percent said they're unsure.
However, 48 percent of Facebook users still hold at least a somewhat favorable view of the social media platform vs. 44 percent who say they don't.
The poll surveyed 1,000 U.S. adults March 21-23 and has a margin of error of 4.1 percentage points.
