Any Republican who wants to "wave the white flag" on defunding Obamacare is forgetting what America is built upon, Sarah Palin tells Fox News Channel.
Appearing on "Your World with Neil Cavuto" on Tuesday, the former vice presidential candidate praised the efforts of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who was still talking on the Senate floor as she spoke. Cruz vowed to continue "until I am no longer able to stand."
"What Sen. Cruz is doing is, he's waving this flag," Palin said, holding up a miniature American flag, "and he's saying, hey, what is the alternative here in fighting for our economic liberty in the United States of America?"

Too many of Cruz's Republican colleagues, she said, are waving a white flag and saying, "Let's surrender till we win." She waved a piece of white cloth on a stick to make her point.
"This is nonsense" she said. "More power to Sen. Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, others who are standing up for what they campaigned upon."
Many in the Republican leadership, including Palin's former running mate John McCain, have said the tea party wing of the party are engaging in a useless effort that could possibly hurt the party.
The founding fathers were willing to die for what is right, Palin said, and Cruz is willing to die politically for what is right. Cruz is not likely seeing lots of big donors filling his campaign coffers because of his stand, she said.
She said "political architects" such as Karl Rove and Dick Morris have "screwed things up" by having the party get along to go along with Obama.
