Former Vice President Joe Biden defends Obamacare in a new minute-long ad in Iowa, The Hill is reporting.

The ad, rolled out on Tuesday, is part of a six-figure media campaign by Biden targeting crucial markets in Iowa, according to The Hill.

In the ad, Biden goes after those looking to replace former President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare law.

"The fact of the matter is healthcare is personal to me," Biden says in the ad. “Obamacare is personal to me. When I see the president try to tear down, and others propose to replace it and start over, that's personal to me too. We've got to build on what we did because every American deserves affordable healthcare."

The Hill noted Biden has repeatedly warned against replacing Obamacare.
