Special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian election interference will be available for free from Barnes & Noble, the bookseller announced on Wednesday.
“Be the first to read THE MUELLER REPORT for free! Pre-order today and it will be delivered to your NOOK Library upon expected release tomorrow,” Barnes & Noble tweeted, along with a link. The company added that customers will also be able to view the report on the NOOK reading app.
The Washington Examiner reported on Wednesday that the Mueller report already shot to the top of Amazon’s best sellers list, where it is already listed for purchase, prior to its release.
"The Mueller Report as released by the U.S. Department of Justice, Barr redactions and all, and it is essential reading for all Americans on both sides of the aisle," reads the description of the Mueller report on Barnes & Nobles’ website. "After almost two long years, the wait is over for one of the most important investigations in the history of American politics."
"We've received strong demand from our customers for this report, and want to make it as easy as possible for them to access it for free as soon as possible," Tim Mantel, the company’s chief merchandising officer, said in a statement to CBS News.
