Vice President Mike Pence got a shout-out in the latest episode of “Game of Thrones,” but viewers never heard it.

In a Thursday interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” D.B. Weiss, co-creator of “Games of Thrones,” recalled the strange incident. He said that during the filming of the Battle of Winterfell scene in the third episode of the show’s final season, director Miguel Sapochnik told actor Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm, to “say something in Valyrian.”

Weiss’ interview was detailed in a report in the Independent newspaper.

“Jacob was so tired and so delirious and so out of it that all he could think to yell was ‘Mike Pence, Mike Pence, Mike Pence,’” Weiss said.

The shout-out to the vice president was later dubbed over.
