Removing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., from her committee assignments due to her past remarks shows that ''the cancel culture knows no limit,'' according to Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who spoke with two other Republican congressmen about the decision.
Jordan, alongside GOP Reps. Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Jason Smith of Missouri, agreed on ''John Bachman Now'' that the decision is dangerous, asking: ''Who's next? I mean, they're gonna come after, Tim, Jason, myself, they're gonna come after you, John. The cancel culture knows no limit.''
He added, ''Marjorie Greene gets kicked off her committee so she can't represent the people in her district. The Democrats in Congress may like that, but I don't think the people in her district who voted for her appreciate it very much.''
Burchett said, ''The reality is none of us up here have any governance anymore. When you have a president who's put over 40 executive orders in, [House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.,] just denies every rule that she ever created, and the woke culture has just really just taken over this whole city.''
When asked about President Donald Trump’s upcoming impeachment, the group was optimistic about the Republican’s chances, with Jordan saying, ''The president's gonna win this case, he will be acquitted.''
