Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., was “in the loop” on efforts to push Ukraine to investigate the Biden family, according to Lev Parnas, the former associate of President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani who has been charged with campaign finance violations.
“Sen. Lindsey Graham I haven’t had any contact with, but because of my relationship with Rudy Giuliani, I have a lot of information about his dealings,” Parnas told CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” Wednesday evening. "It was surreal then to watch Lindsey Graham up there... he's out there talking about all this stuff, that this is a sham, this should go away, when at the end of the day, he was in the loop just like everyone else."
He added that “Rudy told me not once but on several occasions that he spoke to Lindsey Graham about the situation, that Lindsey was always aware. I don’t know how deeply aware, I didn’t speak to Lindsey Graham, I don’t have text messages with him, we didn’t interact, so I can only speak from what Rudy told me."
Parnas’ attorney on Wednesday released a letter to The Daily Beast that he claimed Giuliani delivered to Graham in late 2018 that called for sanctions on various Ukrainian government officials, including Mykola Zlochevskiy, the head of the company where Hunter Biden was a board member. These letters were sent by Ukrainian-born U.S. citizen Michael Guralnik according to another letter he wrote to the then-acting deputy secretary of the Treasury Sigal Mandelker, which was also shared by Parnas’ lawyer.
