ABC late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel commented on a report that he had been in contact with Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., to discuss the Obamacare repeal bill co-sponsored by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. and Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La.

Kimmel spoke to Schumer when he was doing research on the bill, the host said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Monday night.

"All the propaganda outlets got very excited . . . they called me a pawn and a mouthpiece, they said I was a puppet for the Democrats," Kimmel said.

Schumer provided "technical guidance and info about the bill, as well as stats from various think tanks and experts on the effects," according to a Daily Beast report.

"We've heard from and spoken to a lot of people, including Sen. Schumer and the many charities and healthcare organizations that oppose this monstrous bill," a source at Kimmel's show told The Daily Beast.

"If you want confirmation that the mainstream media is actually the opposition party in bed with the Democrats, there you have it," "Fox & Friends Weekend" host Pete Hegseth said over the weekend in a clip Kimmel aired Monday night.

"Thank you, man with a pony keg full of gel in his hair," Kimmel responded to the Hegseth clip.

Kimmel had spoken out against the Republican Obamacare repeal bill during his show, including saying that cosponsor Cassidy "lied right to my face."

Also during Kimmel's Monday night show, he joked that he and his wife stopped the repeal bill.

"We decided to have a baby with congenital heart defects. And then once we had that going for us, I went on TV, I spoke out, and we may have stopped Cassidy-Graham. I still can't believe we pulled it off, but we did," Kimmel said.
