On the eve of his first speech to the United Nations General Assembly, new Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is conducting a media campaign to persuade the West to ease the sanctions that have seriously hurt Iran’s economy. But the United States will be looking to hear specific language tomorrow from Rouhani that indicates Iran is really taking a different course, and will want to see action before sanctions are either softened or lifted.
