Tulsi Gabbard on Sunday posted a video to Twitter Sunday showing her singing John Lennon favorite “Imagine” on the anniversary of the singer’s death.

Gabbard, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and a California Representative, is singing the song with staffer and husband Abraham Williams, who plays the ukulele.

Williams is a freelance cinematographer who appears with Gabbard consistently on her social media posts.

Lennon was fatally shot in New York outside of his apartment on Dec. 8, 1980, by Mark David Chapman. He was 40 years old.

Lennon’s wife, Yoko Ono, on Sunday posted an emotional tribute to her late husband and called for America to change its gun laws before describing his loss as a “hollowing experience.”

Ono wrote: “Dear Friends. Every day, 100 Americans are shot and killed with guns. We are turning this beautiful country into a War Zone. Together, let’s bring back America, the green land of peace.”

She also shared a statistic that over 1.4 million people have been killed by guns in America since Lennon’s death.
