Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has decided to testify before Congress, CNN reports.

The 33-year-old will appear in the coming weeks, according to CNN.

The news comes as Zuckerberg snubbed a summons from British Parliament to appear there to answer for the data breaches that his social media giant has been outed for the past week.

Namely, the personal data of more than 50 million Facebook users mined by British firm Cambridge Analytica.
