SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk says he is not only ready to ride along on one of his rockets to Mars — he would like to move there.

In an interview with "Axios on HBO," the 47-year-old tch entrepreneur and investor thinks he has got a 70 percent chance of living long enough to hop aboard a SpaceX rocket.

"I know exactly what to do," he told the news outlet. "I'm talking about moving there."

Though likely a long shot, Axios reported Musk can envision a Mars flight as soon as seven years from now, with a ticket price of "around a couple hundred thousand dollars."

And it will not just be a safe-haven for bad-behaving zillionaires.

"Your probability of dying on Mars is much higher than earth," he told Axios, adding: "Really the ad for going to Mars would be like [Sir Ernest] Shackleton's [supposed] ad for going to the Antarctic" in the early 20th century.

"It's gonna be hard. There's a good chance of death, going in a little can through deep space," he told the news outlet, and even if you successfully land, "you'll be working nonstop to build the base."

"We think you can come back, but we're not sure," he added. "Now, does that sound like an escape hatch for rich people?"

For his part, he is ready to ride.

"There's lots of people who climb mountains," he told Axios. "People die on Mount Everest all the time. They like doing it for the challenge."
