EMP Experts Warn '9 Out of 10' Americans Could Die Without Preparations

A dream team of former top national security officials and other experts is gathering this week in Montgomery, Alabama, at the 2019 Electromagnetic Defense Task Force conference to address what many consider the nation’s No. 1 vulnerability.

The gathering of more than 300 leading defense, industry, and academic experts at Maxwell Air Force Base is part of the military’s effort to respond to President Trump’s March executive order directing federal agencies to identify threats and vulnerabilities associated with powerful electromagnetic pulses, or EMPs.
