The Republican Party has cast Hillary Clinton in a send-up of the popular television commercials for Dos Equis beer, this one marveling at the questionable email exploits of the former secretary of state and declaring her "the least transparent person in the world,"
Business Insider reports.
The video went up on
YouTube on Friday, sounding and looking like the atmospheric mini-movies starring "the most interesting man in the world" — the jet-setting Alpha male who can do no wrong ("Mosquitos refuse to bite him purely out of respect"), who prefers Dos Equis, and who always signs off with, "Stay thirsty, my friends."

Riffing on
Clinton's recent email troubles, the ad's narrator says, "She wouldn't acknowledge you at a press conference if she had one. She emails on her own server because it's convenient. As a Clinton, foreign governments donate to her.
"She is," the ad continues, "the least transparent person in the world."
The National Journal's Ron Fournier tweeted that the ad is a bid to connect with millennials on the issue of openness and transparency.
Clinton gave a poorly received press conference last week to address questions about her using personal email exclusively to conduct State Department business, and then deciding for herself which correspondence to delete after she left office.
The parody spot ends with the voice-over saying, "Stay secretive, my friends."
