President Donald Trump, claiming he beat Hillary Clinton in all three debates in 2016, said the current group of Democratic challengers looks “somewhat easier.”

Trump made his remarks on Twitter on Tuesday, where he reminded people of the problems he encountered with his microphone during his first debate with Clinton.

He wrote: “As most people are aware, according to the Polls, I won EVERY debate, including the three with Crooked Hillary Clinton, despite the fact that in the first debate, they modulated the sound on me, and got caught. This crew looks somewhat easier than Crooked, but you never know?”

Trump had first complained about the microphone after his September 26, 2016 debate with Clinton. After that debate he had said: “They gave me a defective mic…I wonder, was that on purpose?” He later told Fox News the microphone was “terrible.”

Politico noted the non-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates said that “there were issues regarding Donald Trump’s audio that affected the sound level in the debate hall.”
