DC: No Initial Reports of Damage, Injuries

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - There are no initial reports of injuries or major damage in Washington, D.C. from a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that shook the city and surrounding areas, according to the city's fire and emergency services Twitter feed.

There are reports of damaged bldgs, but none confirmed at this time, it said. (Reporting by Jeremy Pelofsky, editing by Eric Beech)
