Princeton University students are reportedly fuming over an online posting offering a Customs and Border Protection job.

The listing — first posted last fall — was featured on Handshake, a third-party recruiting platform provided to students by Princeton's Career Services, The Daily Princetonian reported last week.

But some Hispanic students at the Ivy League felt the posting was egregious in light of the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy that resulted in the separation of children from their illegal immigrants parents at the southern border, the student newspaper reported.

"In the past, there have been problematic job postings, [such as] openings at private prisons," Princeton politics student Samuel Santiago, who revealed the posting on Facebook, told the Daily Princetonian. "So, I was not surprised."

Students were aghast.

"This is absurd omg," Princeton public and international affairs student Sofía Briones Ramírez commented on Santiago's Facebook post, The Daily Caller reported.

"The foreign language proficiency had me rolling. Really?? Lol," former Princeton student Nicole Hardy remarked. "Would a qualifying language be idk Spanish????"

Eva Kubu, the interim executive director of Princeton's Career Services, said she was sympathetic to the students' concerns, but noted about 500 other schools' career centers partner with Handshake — and Princeton might not be able to remove the listing due to subjective complaints.

In a statement to the Princetonian, university spokesman Daniel Day called it "appropriate to leave it to the members of our community to make their own personal decisions about the paths they pursue."
