Two former Trump campaign aides have established a lobbying firm in the Washington townhouse of former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski — and its client is a Serbian nationalist group backed by Russia.
The aides, Jason Osborne and Michael Rubino, who both worked under Lewandowski, have formed Twin Rocks Global LLC, according to Foreign Agent Registration records filed two weeks ago with the Justice Department, ABC News reported Tuesday.
The group will represent the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), a Serbian nationalist party in Bosnia and Herzegovina that supports a separatist movement in the country with support from the Kremlin.
Osborne and Rubino also worked as registered lobbyists for Avenue Strategies, a firm Lewandowski established with another former Trump campaign staffer after the 2016 election.
Lewandowski left Avenue Strategies last May after reports he had not registered as a foreign agent — and his clients told The Washington Post then that he said he would no longer lobby or work for foreign clients.
Osborne and Rubino also have another lobbying firm, Turnberry Solutions, also located in Lewandowski's townhouse on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, ABC reports.
Lewandowski reportedly stays in the upper floors there when he is in Washington, according to the report.
Neither Osborne nor Rubino responded to a request for comment.
In addition, Lewandowski has denied having any ties to Turnberry, and he did not respond to multiple requests for comment about Twin Rocks Global.
According to the report, the SNSD is led by Serbian nationalist Milorad Dodik.
It has worked closely with United Russia, the ruling party in Moscow led by Russian Senate Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Konstantin Kosachev.
The Serbian nationalist party was among several Balkan political groups signing a military neutrality agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2016, ABC reports.
