A widespread outage that affected many websites has apparently been resolved.
The Independent newspaper reported that the issue appeared to be the result of problems at Cloudflare, the internet infrastructure provider powering much of the web.
People trying to view the affected websites were greeted with error messages.
TechCrunch said Cloudflare resolved the problem about an hour after users began reporting issues on Tuesday.
Popular websites, including Medium and DoorDash, were affected, TechCrunch noted. Cloudflare did not reveal what caused the outage or what it did to resolve the issue, TechCrunch said.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, Cloudflare, on its system status page, posted: "The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented."
An hour later, it added: "This incident has been resolved."
According to TechCrunch the company was hit with a similar problem last week.
