Fox News host Bill O'Reilly has quietly cut back on his schedule, long before the uproar over sexual harassment allegations reached fever pitch, Politico reported.
O'Reilly has hosted just two "The O'Reilly Factor" shows over the past five months; a spinoff show — called "Friday Factor" — has been in the works at Fox while guest hosts have rotated in for O'Reilly.
Fox has yet to announce the spinoff show, though "Friday Factor" has been in the TV listings for weeks, Politico reported.
Also, O'Reilly has been on vacation this week amid the growing furor following The New York Times report that Fox was forced to settle several sexual harassment claims against the popular host. Dozens of companies have pulled their advertising from the show.
While Fox has said it was a pre-planned vacation and that he'll return April 24, another report said O'Reilly may be gone for good.
Roger Ailes was forced to resign as chairman of Fox News last summer after a record $20 million settlement with former host Gretchen Carlson.
Former George W. Bush spokeswoman Dana Perino has been filling in for O'Reilly this week.
