Newsmax TV Barbara Bush was a feisty, funny woman who was never afraid to say what was on her mind — and even once used a stern look to tell her son Jeb Bush to put a lid on it.
The conservative broadcaster who hosts "No Spin News," which airs on Newsmax TV Saturday at at 7 p.m. ET and again on Sunday at 1 and 6 p.m. ET, that he met Mrs. Bush when she invited him to participate in a fundraiser for her Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy in Florida five years ago.

"She was very funny, she was kind giving me jabs — 'Ooooh, you're the big Bill O' Reilly!' — I was very amused by it," O'Reilly recalled to Newsmax TV's John Bachman.
"I think [Florida Gov.] Jeb Bush said something once, and she looked at him, gave him this laser look, like 'Shut up, Jeb!'
"She was very, very prominent. That'’s the word, just such a prominent woman. I think she dominated that whole Bush clan and, of course, was an American patriot."
Mrs. Bush, the wife of President George H.W. Bush and mother of President George W. Bush, died on Tuesday in Houston at the age of 92.
