Disgraced politician Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, is being investigated by New York City's child welfare agency for sending a suggestive photo of himself in underwear as his 4-year-old son lies nearby, The New York Post reports.

A case worker from Administration for Children's Services visited Weiner's apartment on Tuesday, according to the Post.

The photo that sparked the probe shows Weiner lying in his bed in white underwear with his son Jordan in the background. "Someone just climbed into my bed," he said in a text message to an unidentified woman.

In another message, he reportedly called his son "a chick magnet."

Weiner was caught in two other sexting scandals in 2011 and 2013, which ended his congressional career and bid to be mayor of New York City.

Abedin announced on Monday that she and her husband are separating in the wake of the latest scandal.
