New video footage has been released by the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office showing events that took place on the set of "Rust" the day cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot after a gun Alec Baldwin was holding fired a live round.

The videos, which were released along with dozens of photographs on Monday in response to public records requests by media outlets, were made available by The Wall Street Journal and includes a video of Alec Baldwin drawing a revolver and pointing it towards the camera twice.

The videos released also include body-camera footage from sheriff's deputies showing emergency responders arriving at the scene and treating Hutchins and the film's director, Joel Souza, who was wounded in the incident. The Wall Street Journal describes Hutchins as laying quietly on the floor of the set's Old West church while Souza also lays on the ground groaning in pain. Crew members are told to stay out of the church which was deemed a crime scene.

In an interview with sheriff's investigators following the shooting and released Monday, Baldwin asks what the projectile was that fired from the gun.

"What's in Joel's shoulder, is it a rock or is it a bullet?" he said, to which investigators told him it was a bullet.

"Somebody put a live round in the gun," Baldwin said. "If that's a bullet that was pulled out of his shoulder, then someone loaded a live round into the gun I was holding.

"I rehearsed with a hot gun," he said. "It was supposed to be cold or empty ... This is the most horrifying thing I've ever heard in my life."

In a phone conversation with Detective Alexandria Hancock, Baldwin insists he never pulled the trigger of the gun that fired off the live round.

"My finger was on the trigger, but I didn't pull the trigger. I pulled the hammer back partially," he said, explaining that the gun went off when he let the hammer go.

In a statement, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said the investigation into the incident by his agency remains open pending FBI firearm and ballistic analysis as well as DNA and latent fingerprint analysis.

"The sheriff's office is releasing all files associated with our ongoing investigation," he said, according to the Daily Mail.
