President Donald Trump called "60 Minutes" to see if the episode he appeared on after he became president had broken ratings records, the show's executive producer Jeff Fager told The Hollywood Reporter.
Trump appeared on "60 Minutes" to give his first interview as the president Nov. 13 2016.
"He called me after the interview to ask if he had broken any ratings records," Fager said.
Trump's appearance did not score record-breaking ratings, according to a Nov. 14 ratings report in The Hollywood Reporter.
There were 18.8 million viewers tuned in, which was 34 percent higher than the previous "60 Minutes" episode. "Sunday Night Football" was the highest rated show of the night, bringing in 22 million viewers.
The Reporter also said Trump's appearance scored 24 percent fewer viewers than the 24.5 million who watched President Barack Obama's first interview as president.
