In case you haven't noticed, there's a full scale campaign underway to impose a host of harsh restrictions on your way of life, the economy, and the very future of the people of the United States.
This headlong rush towards the establishment of a global Marxist system run by the United Nations and the federal government is based entirely upon a hoax perpetrated by power hungry politicians who couldn't sell socialism to the American people any other way, scientists with their hands outstretched for billions of dollars in grants, and a media elite which clandestinely worships at the altar of Karl Marx.
In the guise of saving the planet from global warming, Washington lawmakers are already threatening to push through legislation that would impose tax increases and enact laws that would, step by step, slowly strangle our rights and our liberty.
We are warned that as a result of global warming — now known as "climate change" — we face vastly increased temperatures, rising sea levels that will engulf low lying areas, food shortages and all sorts of very unpleasant consequences of our failure to act now to stop Mother Nature from raising the thermostat.
We are told that the majority of the world's scientists are convinced that disastrous climate change is underway, that global warming is the result of human activity such as burning fossil fuels and barbecuing hamburgers on backyard grills, and that failure to act now and decisively will destroy our way of life and that any scientist who dispute this so-called scientific consensus probably believes the earth is flat.
Not a word of this is true, yet millions of Americans are being gulled into accepting the word of people who have a vested interest of one kind or another in promoting the global warming lie.
The fact is that there are is a vast number of respected scientists including climatologists, meteorologists, and others who study the climate, who deny that atmospheric levels of CO2 created enthnocentristically is causing global warming. Others flatly deny that the earth is warming and still others who insists that the so-called evidence advanced by the global warming fanatics is not only wrong, but deliberately faked. (For just a partial list of scientists disputing the various myths being used to promote steps said to be needed to combat global warming see http://www.iceagenow.com/Climatologists_Who_Disagree.htm.)
I'll quote just one: Reid A. Bryson holds the 30th Ph.D. in meteorology granted in the history of American education. Emeritus professor and founding chairman of the University of Wisconsin Department of Meteorology, now the Department of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences, in the 1970s he became the first director of what’s now the UW’s Gaylord Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies. He’s a member of the United Nations Global 500 Roll of Honor, created, the U.N. says, to recognize "outstanding achievements in the protection and improvement of the environment."
He has authored five books and more than 230 other publications and was identified by the British Institute of Geographers as the most frequently cited climatologist in the world.
Says Bryson, "Climate’s always been changing and it’s been changing rapidly at various times, and so something was making it change in the past," he told us in an interview this past winter. "Before there were enough people to make any difference at all, 2 million years ago, nobody was changing the climate, yet the climate was changing . . ."
"All this argument is the temperature going up or not, it’s absurd — of course it’s going up. It has gone up since the early 1800s, before the Industrial Revolution, because we’re coming out of the little ice age, not because we’re putting more carbon dioxide into the air." He asks, "What is normal?" Maybe continuous change is the only thing that qualifies. There’s been warming over the past 150 years and even though it’s less than one degree, Celsius, something had to cause it. The usual suspect is the "greenhouse effect," various atmospheric gases trapping solar energy, preventing it being reflected back into space.
Eighty percent of the heat radiated back from the surface is absorbed in the first 30 feet by water vapor.
"And how much is absorbed by carbon dioxide? Eight hundredths of 1 percent. One one-thousandth as important as water vapor. You can go outside and spit and have the same effect as doubling carbon dioxide." Dr. Bryson does not believe that the earth is flat.
Just how far do the globalwarmiacs plan to go when they take over? Back in 2000 Al Gore said, "It ought to be possible to establish a coordinated global program to accomplish the strategic goal of completely eliminating the internal combustion engine over, say, a 25 year period."
In other words a careless future lies ahead if these people have their way.
The climate change campaign is well-organized, incredibly well financed, and moving quickly ahead. All across this nation and the globe there are millions of people who oppose both their claims and the plans to create a socialist America. If we are to succeed we need to be as well organized as the other side. We need to speak as one voice. We have the power to win this fight.
As Laura Ingraham wrote in her extraordinary book, "Power to the People" we proved that when we rose up and demanded that the Congress kill the immigration bill that seemed destined for passage. We won that fight and if we unite, we can win this one and save our children and grandchildren from a grim Marxist future.
Are you listening Rush Limbaugh, Mike Savage, Michael Reagan, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham?
You have an army at your beck and call. Enlist them while there is still time.
Finally, although speaking up on this subject can be a dangerous thing to do, costing research grants and one's prestige in the scientific community, all you presently silent scientists who know that the IPCC and the whole global warming business is a gigantic scam, it's time to organize a global conference to expose what many of you know is scientific garbage.
The other side is scared silly that you'll speak up in one voice. Al Gore refuses to debate the merits of his case, Steven Malloy of JunkScience.Com's offer of $125,000 to anyone who can prove their claims has gone unanswered for almost two months.
It's time to call their bluff.
